- Interesting Story: Zeus' fight with Typhon: After Gaea unified with Tartarus, they created a giant monster called Typhoeus, or Typhon. The monster attacked the home of the gods and after Athena called Zeus a coward, he decided to face Typhon. After being coiled up by the monster, Zeus' tendons in his hands and feet were cut off but luckily for Zeus, Hermes fit the tendons back into place. After this, Zeus defeated Typhon by pinning the monster underneath Mount Aetna.
